Rangi Davis is a mother of seven children and grandmother of twenty three mokopuna and one great grand child. She is the eldest of eleven children and brought up in a quiet little valley called Orauta in the Bay of Islands.  Her mother steeped in Catholic traditions and Maori values, her father steeped in tikanga Māori flavoured with Anglican teachings shaped much of her strong foundations to her growing spirituality, te reo Māori, Māori and Catholic beliefs, values, traditions and tikanga, practices.

While Rangi plays many roles in the community serving on two Community Boards and managing a University Accommodation for 30 University students underpinned by Kaupapa Maori and Catholic ethos, she is a trained Psycho-synthesis Counselor and loves to journey with others who are seeking a way to make meaning in their lives at the time they come to sit with her.

Tracking energy, spirit or wairua is something she loves to engage in when walking alongside of and talking with those who choose her company.

For appointments you need to contact Lee Anne Tatana or Janine Paewai to make an assessment and or a referral or you may phone Rangi direct on 021 027 47185.

Whaea Rangi Davis is available for counselling every Thursday at the marae.
